A converted man is changed from a crippled beggar into a whole, healthy man who leaps, rejoices, and praises God. The misery of sin is once and for all broken in the soul. By faith in the name of Jesus, the convert forever leaves behind the old man and way of life.
Real conversion changes your very being from a state of sin to righteousness. The apostle Peter said, “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out.” (Acts 3:19). Repentance is a condition of conversion, and conversion is a condition of God blotting out one’s sins. Thus, without this changed life, there is no forgiveness of sins. But, by repentance and faith in the name of Jesus, you can be converted now.
Have you ever been converted? If not, will you be, now?
